OFW Mom invests earnings at Goshen Land

Liza Lumba,in 1992 left  her one year and four month old baby and her 12 year old son at home with a housekeeper so she could work as a travel companion for a shipping billionaire in Greece. Her job afforded her to travel to the most luxurious and affluent places in Switzerland, Paris, New York, Europe and stayed in one of the most prestigious addresses at Manhattan.

Working abroad for the moment, she enjoyed the travel and the perks that came with accompanying one of Greece's shipping billionaires, Eleni Dambasis. Earning well, she would send some of her hard earned money back home to make sure that her baby, Erica is well cared for. Unfortunately, her love for her baby did not translate much to tender loving care for the child in her absence. Her older son Ryan took several courses after high school.

Then in 2008, she decided to move to Baguio, Philippines from New York with her new husband Artie Thompson whom she met there in 2000. They invested in Goshen Land's real estate offering-- that of a no interest, five years to pay lot in Aurora Hill, Baguio City.

Apparently, the couple shopped around for the best real estate investment for them from among local and Manila based developers. But what impressed Liza was that Goshen Land 's CEO, Atty. Alexander Bangsoy was the one they were talking to in Baguio while calling from New York. The CEO's personalized service clinched their decision on where to invest hard earned dividends. "He showed us concern. He told us to let him know if we are up against small or big problems," Artie said.  "The real estate offering we got was affordable, reasonable and comfortable, "Liza added. "Besides, there is no other friend like Alex,(the CEO)."Artie shared.

For a New Yorker, living in Baguio somehow eases the anxiety of longing for a good, comfortable weather. "It's nice and cool in Baguio. It meets my criteria of living as if I am in the States," Artie said.***Story Teller
